This page contains excerpts from the book.

Llanfair Clydogau folk celebrating Peace Day after the end of the First World War. (1919).  Little girl, fourth from the right, front row, with the white bow in her hair is Rowena Evans, (nee Jones) of Esgair-crwys, aged about three.  Rowena has, at the time of writing (2016), just celebrated her one hundredth birthday and is pictured below sharing her special day with Bishop Wyn of St. David’s.  There will be more on Rowena in our forthcoming book, Llanfair Clydogau, History of a Cardiganshire Parish, Volume 2.

According to local recollections, the Llanfair Clydogau Show ran successfully until approximately 1930. This Show was in 2015, revived, and being well received, was repeated in 2016.
